Current research

Spillovers from US monetary policy to emerging markets: A multi-country New Keynesian approach

Developed a three-country New Keynesian model of direct and indirect US monetary-policy spillovers to emerging markets, incorporating financial frictions, capital controls, and trade integration.

Master’s thesis

Spillovers from US monetary policy to emerging markets: The role of fundamentals

Examines the effects of changes in US interest rates on emerging-market bond yields, currencies, and macroeconomic fundamentals using hierarchical linear modelling.

Research experience

Central Bank Losses as Private Sector Insurance

Event-study analysis of ECB quantitative-easing surprises, yield curves, and systemic risk using a policy/information decomposition.

U.S. Monetary Policy Identification and Financial-Market Transmission

Replicable FOMC event studies and proxy-SVAR analysis across interest rates, Treasury yields, equities, and exchange rates.

Fed Speech Analysis

Merged Bloomberg forecast data, Federal Reserve speech records, and economic surprises to study how speeches affect forecast revisions.

Trade & Sanctions

Analyzed post-sanction rerouting in Russian trade using network models.

NYSE TAQ Data

Collected, cleaned, and frequency-converted high-frequency trade and quote data, and automated the processing pipeline in Python.
